VS1053b USB Hi-Fi Player
The VS1053b USB Hi-Fi Player is a multi-format "MP3 player" that uses the VS1053 as a stand-alone component along with a low-cost High Speed (480 Mbit/s) USB controller. The device can play .MP3, .OGG, .AAC, .M4A, .WMA, .WAV, .IMA and .MID files with excellent sound quality. It can alternatively use SD/SDHC cards (over 2 GB supported) or internal FLASH memory. The VS1053b + VS1000 HiFi Recorder is an example of a product that can be built by using the VS1053b multi-codec chip and the VS1000 controller IC. It is one of the most versatile "MP3 players" around: it can play back music in MP3, AAC, WMA, Ogg Vorbis, FLAC, MIDI and ADPCM formats. It can also record either in high-quality Ogg Vorbis or lossless PCM formats. Its measured dynamic range is better than 90 dB. The VS1000 controller application is available in binary format, and source code will be made available later so that the board can be customized for different applications.

VS1063 / VS1053 / VS8053 Simple DSP Board and Kit
The VS1063 / VS1053 / VS8053 Simple DSP Board is a small, low-cost and high performance audio DSP board for the VS1063, VS1053 or VS8053 Audio Codec IC. The VSx053 Simple DSP Board is meant to be used in DSP software developement and as a "plug-in" module in electronic applications. The board has two rows of pin headers, one on each edge of the board. One edge has digital connections for connecting to a serial port or to an SPI port. This can be used to interface the board with a PC and VSIDE or a host microcontroller. The other edge has analog connections featuring Line In, Line Out and Headphone Out. Line In and Line Out are AC-coupled and can be connected directly to other audio circuits.
